About Us

Situated in central Gosport, Tombs and Allen, a trusted local independent opticians, has expanded its services to encompass comprehensive hearing care. This includes free hearing tests, ear wax removal, hearing aid dispensing, hearing aid repair and reprogramming. We take pride in delivering exceptional eye and ear care for our local community.

Mohammedraza Kanji

BSc (Hons)

Mohammedraza graduated from City University, London in 2006. He guides the team with his expertise and enthusiasm for optics, ensuring each customer receives optimal personalized service.

Mohamedsarwar Jagani

BSc (Hons)

Mohamedsarwar brings a wealth of optics experience, having graduated from Aston University in 2007. He is passionate about staying abreast of the latest optical technology and is always on trend with his choice of the latest spectacle designs.

Abbas Moledina

BSc (Hons)

Abbas, our in-house optometrist, is a product of our homegrown talent. He successfully graduated from Aston University and completed his pre-registration training at Tombs and Allen. Abbas specializes in acute eye care emergencies and serves as our tech expert.

Suneel Maqbool

HCPC registered Audiologist

Suneel possesses extensive experience collaborating with independent audiology practices in both the UK and Australia. His passion and expertise lie in tinnitus management, and his gentle and articulate manner is appreciated by both the team and his clients.

James Creasey

FBDO - Dispensing Manager

Meet James, our exceptionally skilled dispensing optician who is a well-known presence at Tombs and Allen. With the expertise of dispensing and repairs, James will find you the perfect style of frames and lenses to suit you. His passion lies in tackling challenges posed by complex prescriptions and has a particular interest in paediatrics and low vision. James has over 15 years of experience dispensing children and remembers them and their families by first name on their return visits. They particularly remember him for his collection of cartoon character ties.

Emily Jennings

Assistant Manager

With a decade of experience in optics, Emily joined Tombs and Allen in 2019, where she oversees the day-to-day operations of the practice. Known as the go-to person for problem-solving, she takes pleasure in offering distinctive frame selections and identifying lenses tailored to each individual. You’ll often spot her sporting one of our carefully chosen frames!

Megan Fiske

Optical Advisor and Receptionist

Megan, one of the welcoming individuals who greets you upon your arrival at the practice, plays a key role in keeping us organized throughout the day. A valuable member of the team since 2019, she has recently achieved distinction grades in the ABDO Optical Assistant course, showcasing her commitment to excellence. Megan’s keen eye for detail ensures that our customers receive top-notch care and attention.

Cara Tilbury

Optical Advisor and Marketing Specialist

Cara, our expert in social media and marketing, completed a Social Media Marketing course at the Open University to enhance our outreach with valuable and pertinent content. Joining Tombs and Allen as an apprentice in 2016, she is a familiar face to our regular patients. Stay tuned for our latest updates on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!
